The CENTAC unit is fully assembled, motor-driven, single-layer, single-stage suction and discharge, providing 100% oil-free air. Flow ranges from 25-850 m3/min, with discharge pressure from 0.8-4.0 MPa. The compressor and motor are connected via flange and coupling, with cooling, control, lubrication, and auxiliary systems mounted on a common base.

Air Compressor Cooler
The compression process in an air compressor generates heat as a byproduct. To ensure optimal performance and prevent damage, it is essential to remove this heat before further compression or use. This requires the inclusion of a pre-cooler, intercooler, and aftercooler in the air compressor system.
Cooler Function in Compression Stages

Intercooler
Most industrial air compressors use a multi-stage design. During compression, heat generation causes air expansion, increasing horsepower demand in subsequent stages. The intercooler provides cooler, drier and denser air for the next stage.

Aftercooler
Following the intercooler, the aftercooler removes heat from compressed air using ambient air or cooling water. This lowers outlet temperature and removes moisture to improve compressed air quality.

Oil Cooler
The engine oil cooler allows the cooling system to dissipate excess oil heat. A water-to-oil heat exchanger is commonly used, with coolant outside tubes and oil through tubes for efficient heat transfer.
