Boiler Blowdown Tanks
Boiler blowdown tanks are integral to steam heating systems. During the conversion of water to steam, impurities dissolve and collect as solids in the boiler. If not addressed, these impurities can cause significant damage.
Function:
Blowdown tanks accept and retain steam and water discharged from the boiler, effectively removing particles. Over time, the collected water cools before being returned to the boiler during the next discharge cycle.
Incorporating a boiler blowdown tank can prevent solids buildup and protect your steam boiler.
